Data protection declaration according to EU GDPR

§1 Stored data contents

If the contract is concluded directly between the guest and the host, only the personal data required for transaction processing will be stored in the contract between Ferienhaus Burkard and the booking guest. These include the guest's first name, last name, and address, a telephone number, and an email address.

If the booking is made via other portals such as Booking.com, the data protection declarations stored there apply.



§2 Storage location

The data listed in Section 1 is stored exclusively on the company computer as part of the respective contract. Backups are performed on a separate company server. Unless otherwise requested by the guest, the data will remain there for five years. After that, the contract will be deleted. If the guest wishes to have the data deleted sooner, this will occur immediately upon request, but no earlier than after the contract has been fulfilled.

Under no circumstances will the data be passed on to third parties

§3 Data security

The company computer and the server are protected by constantly updated security software (McAfee).
